Our fellowship began in April 1993 with the purpose of providing an opportunity for the independent Baptist preachers, pastors, missionaries, and evangelists of Southeast Georgia to meet and encourage one another in the ministry.

So many preachers are becoming greatly discouraged and weary in their labor for our Lord. It is our desire to encourage and strengthen one another to be faithful to God in our ministries. With our monthly meetings we pray God would help us all to fulfill such a desire.

We have no axes to grind, no personal agendas, no vicious attacks on each others heroes, and no you have to do it my way or you're wrong attitudes. We meet monthly with the host pastor acting as the moderator for the day. He is responsible to choose preachers for the meeting. The host church typically provides an evening meal for the visiting preachers. It is a great time of encouragement and renewal of friendships within the fellowship.

We believe that this need for encouragement exists among our brethren of like faith. We are a fellowship. Two fellows in the same ship! Not churches, not an association of churches, not a convention, not an ecclesiastical denomination, but individuals. We are a fellowship of individuals with genuine concern for each other and our ministries to accomplish great things for our Lord Jesus Christ.

We fellowship around our position on the Word of God (KJV), the Cause of Christ, the Person of Christ, the Local Church, and the great Baptist distinctives of our fundamental heritage.
